So today has been a day of travel! We left London this morning for London city airport to pick up a car, it was a bitter sweet moment. Sad to leave, but excited to see the rest of the UK. Being in the passenger seat of a car here is a lot more shocking than I thought. All my instincts were yelling at me to grab the wheel and steer the car to the other side! But we made it and are alive, thankfully. We first headed to Longleats, a wild animal and adventure park near Sainsbury. It totally awoke the inner child in me, I started off by visiting the bat house, which was so cool! You got to just walk around this room while bats flew around your head! They are actually quite cute if you look at them up close.
From there we made our way to Stonehenge, which was closed for the day, but I think we were meant to be there for a reason. We ended up meeting a girl from Switzerland who had missed her bus and needed to get back to a near by town called Sanisbury, so we ended up giving her a ride, she turned out to be such a sweet girl and I definitely think that we were supposed to be there in order to help her out. So were going back to stonehenge in the morning, I am very excited to see it, its something I have been interested in for years.
So we finally made it to the hostel, its in a town called Wiltshire, and it is so quaint! Its on a farm, so I spent the past 2 hours exploring around and feeding the horses and goats and rabbits, its such a nice place, I’m quite upset were leaving in the morning.
So thats it! It’s a short one today, Ive got to go collect my laundry and head to bed! I hope your all well!
