Goodbye Cravings, Hello Freedom!

Hi Everyone!

So todays post isn’t going to be much of a post. I am on day 4 of Optifast and I have been having a hard time, not with straying off the plan or anything, but just with how my body is adjusting.

Over the past 2 or so days I have had really bad nausea and also been really dizzy. I wake up feeling like this and it lasts until about 5 pm. I have been struggling with pushing my self to do my normal daily activities because I haven’t had the energy! I made a call into my doctor to make sure the nausea is a normal symptom of switching to this diet. I am guessing it is just my liver working hard to dump all the fat I am losing, speaking of which, you guys won’t believe my weigh in on Wednesday!

I do have some great news though! My cravings are almost gone! Driving used to be my time for planning my food and binges. Instinctively tonight while I was driving home from work I was thinking about the foods I would normally eat and none of them we appetizing! For the first time I wasn’t craving sugar or salt or really, anything! It was an amazing feeling! Its like I am finally breaking free from my addiction to food and I am so excited to see what comes next!
