Weight In Week 8!

Hey everyone!

So I just got home from the weekly Optifast meeting. I lost 3 pounds this week for a total of 13 pounds in the past 3 weeks! I was 283 this week and honestly, I was upset that I haven’t lost more this week, but overall 13 pounds in less than a moth is an awesome achievement. I have to keep focusing on the positive of this journey or else I get caught up in the cycle of self harming thoughts and depression. And we all know that leads to binging, which is the last thing I want!

I wanted to share something the Dietician said today. In the past if I “messed up” on my food plan, I would say oh well and eat crap the rest of the day. If you were driving on a freeway and missed your exit, you wouldn’t say oh well and just keep going, you would turn around!

This clicked something in me, I knew the concept, but hearing it in such a matter of fact way really helped me understand fully. That the process of going further and you have messed up, makes absolutely no sense!
