  1. Congratulations! I know it’s hard, but keep going to get what you want, just you, for yourself. Think that’s a big key. Years! Ago, my husband promised to take me to Hawaii if I lost enough weight, and to him that was my highschool weight of 125. After I did, nothing changed. His family said, oh, we’ve got our C back. What? I didn’t go anywhere, was the same person. No trip to H. I didn’t do it for myself, I did it for him. Huge mistake, and of course I gained it all back and lots more. My point is, to be who you are, and proud of it. Whatever you do, do it for yourself!

    1. Thank you so much! Yes, I have lost and gained so many times because I was doing it for other people. This time I am doing it for my self and I couldn’t feel better! Thank you for the support!

    1. Hi Cynthia! It has definitely been a long time coming! At first I really watched what I ate, I stopped taking money out with me and cut up my debit card! I worked out everyday and was pretty successful in loosing about 20 pounds, but still struggling with binge eating and my health.

In the past few months I joined the Optifast program, which is a medically supervised weight loss plan and have lost 40 pounds since joining!

  2. Congratulations! That’s a major achievement. My SW was 320lbs and I definitely sympathize with that feeling of being at the bottom of a huge mountain. You’re really hitting some major milestones and inspiring the rest of us!

  3. Congrats on the loss! I’ve been on my journey since 2011 and i have been doing it solely for me and me only. Yes my husband supports me to no end, but Im doing this for my own health 🙂
