So I am writing to you from Southampton, We had an AMAZING day in Bath, I have completely fallen in love with that city! My aunt pointed out to me that I should, no matter what it took, weigh-in because that has been the routine so far and what has kept me successful. So upon her advice I took off this morning and ran all around the city to find a Boots that had a working scale in it! And I did. I weighed in at 252 pounds, this is up 3 pounds from last week! I had one slip up that only amounted to an additional 230 calories, but other than that I have had no slip ups. I’m not sure what to account this too. Maybe just different scales and the fact I had clothes on and haven’t been drinking nearly as much water? I am not totally sure but it has definitely hit my confidence a bit, and I have been thinking back on what I should be doing differently, or what I did to make this happen. I am so glad I decided to find a scale and weigh because it has made me so much more aware, way more than I thought I could be. There is literally nothing I can do but move on from this and make sure next week is better! I have been averaging least 11,000 steps a day, which will definitely help with the weight loss. I will post my daily diaries below along with PLENTY of photos. I hope you all are well and I will see you on Friday!

I got the best sleep last night! I slept from about 8pm to 6:30 am and I so needed it! Once waking up and getting shower we headed downstairs for breakfast where I had a cup of tea and a optifast bar.
After leaving hounslow we drove to hampstead to see hampstead court and got a beautiful view of the Thames river! We also did the hedge maze which was pretty fun, and got to wear capes like King Henry the 8th. Now we are on our way to Bath and the spas!
The spas were AMAZING! So yesterday we got into Bath and got settled at the Travel lodge on George street. From there we walked down to the therme spas and spent 2 luxurious hours in the Spa, steam rooms and rooftop pool! Honestly, I did have a hard time relaxing at first, it’s almost like I am more self conscious now that I have lost 86 pounds, than before. Maybe it’s because of the loose skin on my arms or because now that I am actively working hard on changing my behavior and life really. What do you guys think?
Fast forward to this morning we woke up and decided to move the car to a more central car park and walk around for a bit. I was on a mission to find a scale to weigh in which resulted in me walking 5,000 steps and about 2 miles! I finally found one and then went to go meet pam and Sally Lunns, where I had a bar and a pot of amazing chai tea! After we walked around and stopped in an adorable wood carving shop, then I ran over to a tourist shop and got a patch, thats my “thing” for this trip. I am collecting patches from every location I can, then putting it on a jean jacket at home!
Once leaving bath we made our way to Chawton to visit Jane Austen’s family cottage. I really had an amazing time here, it was really cool to see the place where she published most of her work from and then eventually lived out the rest of her life.
After leaving the cottage we drove to Westminster to see The Great Hall, which was one of my favorite places, the iron doors were incredible! After the Great Hall we made our way to Winchester Cathedral to see Jane’s burial place, we made it just before closing and it was very interesting to see.
After the Cathedral we made our way to Southampton and our hotel for the night. After a bit of deliberating we decided to go see Guys and Dolls at the Mayflower Theater and I LOVED IT! I have always loved musical theater and this was no disappointment! The choreography and the music was great, all of the performers were incredibly talented and I am soo glad we decided to go! So now I am back in my bed and so ready to go to sleep after a busy but amazing day! I hope you all are well!
