England 2016 Travel Weigh In Weightloss

Weigh In Week 21, Back On Track!

Hey everyone!

I hope you all are well! So this morning I did my weigh in as I stated I would do last week! We were in Ryde on the Isle of Wight and there was a Boots just around the corner that I took a walk to this morning. I am so happy to say that I weighed in at 248 pounds! That is a total of 87 pounds so far! I was just a bit upset cause I miscalculated and though it was 246, but I still lost! thats 5 from last week and 1 since my “official” weigh in before I left! I think my body is just adjusting to the traveling, and the scales are different. I am not beating my self and just going to keep on moving forward! My travel diaries for the past few days are below! How is your weightloss going? Le the know below!

Hey everyone! So we left Globe Backpackers in Exeter around 10 or so and made our way to the Isle Of Wight! I had never been on a car ferry before so it was a cool experience. The ferry from Lynmington to Yarmouth wasn’t bad at all, only about 40 minutes! Once we got on the Island we didn’t have anything specific planned, so we decided to put the GPS away and just drive until we found something! We were on an Island so we felt pretty confident with out navigating skills. I.O.W is beautiful! We found our way to the The Needles, which is a formation of chalk hills and islands, as well as a light house. This is also the site of The Needles Telegraph station, if you didn’t know I am kind of a huge radio communications nerd, so this was really cool to see!  We took a chairlift down to the shore and it is so beautiful! I can’t even describe how breathtaking the cliffs and the multicolored sandstone were! Here are some photos that defiantly don’t do them justice!

After the needles we ended up driving almost all the way around the island! We passed through some adorable villages, Isle of wight is definitely on my list to visit and explore more! After arriving at our travel lodge we grabbed some dinner, I got some veggies made with out salt or oil, they did come with sauce on them and I still had them. While its not technically against the program to have a little sauce, it is against mine, despite that I did have the veg anyways. I reminded my self that I made a choice, and beating my self up wasn’t going to change anything! So I continued on with my night! We headed back to the hotel and I met up with a friend I met last year in Glastonbury for some coffee, it was really great to see him again and I had an awesome night!

This morning I woke up a little late, and I am feeling a bit under the weather, nothing that will hold me back though! We left the island around 1 and took about a 40 minute ferry to Portsmouth! Which is such a beautiful port city! Pam and I headed to the D-Day museum and it was incredibly interesting! Photos were not allowed inside, but I do have some of the outside which I will post here:

After the museum we drove to our Traveloge and much to Pam, and my surprise, they had parking! and it was free! The parking over here is usually really hard to find, and usually you can only pay for it an hour at a time. So seeing a parking lot dedicated to just the hotel guests was so great! We dropped our bags in the room and went next door for dinner, I had some roast veg and it was really really good! For the rest of the night we are staying in and I am going to try and recoup this sore throat because we are headed to Brighton tomorrow and then going to hike Beachy Head!
