I want to share my top 6 favorite workouts/workout fundamentals with you guys

 

Hey Everyone!

So as I have been getting more into fitness, I have found myself scouring the internet for workouts that I can do! Everyone is different and has a different fitness ability, but I want to share my top 6 favorite workouts/workout fundamentals with you guys! Remember these can all be modified to fit your fitness level!

1. Warm Up Stretches!

Stretching has become such an important part of my workout and gets me warmed up to feel and do the best workout possible! This particular stretching routine is one I love because I find my hips and back are so tight after a long work day!

2. Ab-Centric!

This is the first workout I followed off of Pintrest and I love it! I haven’t been able to complete the later days fully but I include each of these exercises in my daily workout routine because it takes no time to do it and strengthens my core!

3. Tighten Up!

Because I have lost over 100 pounds I do have quite a bit of loose skin and I am always trying to tighten it up and tone! I add these in as circuits in my workout and they definitely work my muscles! 

4. Toned Legs!

I think the most neglected part of my workouts are my legs so this workout defiantly adds a burn to the legs and I love it! To be fair my legs have carried 100+ pounds for years, so they are pretty strong, now its time to tone! 

5. More Core!

CORE! CORE! CORE! I love doing core workouts! There is something I love about my core feeling sore ( I’m a poet and didn’t know it…). I don’t know what it is, maybe I feel accomplished or like I worked hard, but I love core workouts, especially this one!

6. Tell your Body It’s Time To Rest

Just like warming up is so important to a work out, cooling down is also! Letting your body know that the workout is over and it can chill! As I have expressed, I love stretching, so this is an ideal cool down routine for me!

 

My challenge to you guys is to try at least one of these this week! Don’t worry about “failing” or not being able to do these, I still can’t do all of them! The only “failure” comes from not trying!
